Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and Cape Coast Mall Ltd when you buy or sell on this platform. Last updated September 2026.
1. Who we are
Cape Coast Mall Ltd operates this platform from Kotokuraba Market, Cape Coast, Ghana. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the platform" mean Cape Coast Mall Ltd; "you" means anyone using the site, whether or not you have an account.
2. What this platform is
We are a marketplace. Products are listed and supplied by independent vendors trading here. We verify a vendor before they may list, we approve every product before a customer can see it, and we handle payment, delivery and support — but the seller of any item is the vendor named on the product page.
3. Your account
You may shop without an account. If you open one, keep your password to yourself: anything done with your sign-in is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has it, and we will end every session on your account.
You can see and end your own signed-in sessions from your account at any time.
4. Prices and availability
Every price you are shown is calculated by us at the moment you are shown it — prices are never taken from your browser or from a saved copy. The price you pay is the price shown on the checkout page when you place the order.
Stock is held for you from the moment you add an item to a basket and begin checkout. If it is not paid for within the holding period the stock is released and somebody else may buy it. If a vendor cannot supply something after you have paid, we will tell you and refund that part of your order.
5. Paying
You may pay by mobile money, card, bank transfer, or in cash to the rider on delivery. Card and mobile money payments are processed by Paystack. We never see and never store your card number; what we keep is a reference to the payment.
An order is confirmed when payment is confirmed — for cash on delivery, when the rider records that the money was collected.
6. Delivery
We deliver within the zones listed at checkout. The delivery fee is calculated from your address and shown before you pay, never after. The times we give are estimates: traffic, weather and the market itself are not within our control.
Every order carries a tracking link. That link contains a code unique to your order and is the only way to see it without signing in — treat it as private, because anybody who has it can see where your order has reached.
7. Cancelling and returning
You may cancel an order yourself while it is still being prepared. Once it has been dispatched, call us.
You may request a return within the return window shown on your order. Perishable goods, and anything sold as final, cannot be returned once delivered. Where a return is accepted we refund to the method you paid with; a cash-on-delivery order is refunded by mobile money to the number on the order.
8. If you sell here
Vendors are bound by these terms and by the vendor agreement accepted at registration. In short: you list only goods you may lawfully sell, you describe them accurately, you keep your stock figures true, and you dispatch what you have sold. We take a commission on each sale and pay the balance on the payout cycle in your agreement. We may suspend a vendor whose goods, descriptions or fulfilment fall below what a customer here is entitled to expect.
9. What you may not do
Do not attempt to access another person's account or order, interfere with the platform, or extract its content in bulk. Order numbers are not an invitation: an order can only be read by the person who placed it or by somebody holding its tracking link.
10. Your information
We keep what an order needs — your name, telephone number, delivery address and what you bought — and we use it to fulfil that order, to contact you about it, and to meet our obligations. We do not sell it. A vendor is told what they must pack and where it is going; they are not given your email address or your telephone number.
11. When something goes wrong
Tell us. Call +233554106442 or email hello@capecoastmall.com with your order number. Most problems are settled the same day.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law of Ghana.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when you placed it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
